Lambro Idrodepurazione Division designs and realizes inverse osmosis plants for desalination and potabilization of brackish and sea water. The inverse osmosis is a process for removing from water salts, microorganisms and polluting matters by means of a semi-impermeable membrane made in synthetic material. It’s a prerogative of inverse osmosis desalinators the low energy comsuption (in comparison with other desalination systems), and the lack of polluting discharges during membranes maintenance work. 

Lambro Idrodepurazione Division employs high saline rejection and wide surface wound spirals which allow high recovery ratios even in adverse conditions of temperature and salinity of the water to be trated. Plants are equipped with non-stop control instruments, connected to safety devices and authomatic break in case of malfunctioning or shouldn’t the produced water (permeated) meet the requested salinity characteristics.
