The surface dish aerator ATU, realized by IDROENGINEERING, consists of a conic rotator, that is a dish with a row of blades and an engine group carrying the rotator on a shaft. The particular design of the rotator reduces the formation of aerosol by realizing a tangential flow . The aerator is mounted on a strong plate fixed with adjustable screws to the civil infrastructure or even to a floating structure (floating aerator).
The engine group consists of an electrical engine directly coupled to an elycoidal speed limiter which has a prolonged chassis over the slow shaft; this allows a better resistance to radial loads transmitted by the rotator to the inner parts of the limiter. This coupling of the limiter and the shaft and of these and the dish rotator is realized with a flange rigid joint.
